How does the SumUp Air Card Reader Work?
The SumUp Air accepts all kinds of payments. You can get paid through an NFC payment, Chip and PIN, and even through Google or Apple pay. Your customer just has to tap their card down on your contactless card reader to complete a purchase.
What is a SumUp Air?
SumUp Air is an easy-to-use card reader with an affordable, flat card rate. SumUp Air is a compact, low-cost card reader for contactless and chip card payments. It works in conjunction with a mobile app and is super-easy to get started with. The only ongoing cost is a 1.69% transaction fee.
Is SumUp any good?
SumUp is good for the highly budget-conscious who don’t have a need for all the snazzy extra features that iZettle comes with. iZettle, on the other hand, is best suited to businesses set on growth, and who are looking for a simple way to keep their accounts and inventory in order whilst taking payments with ease.
How much does SumUp charge per transaction?
There are no ongoing or monthly fees with SumUp – it’s simply a case of paying a flat rate of 1.69% per transaction. Refunds are free as long as they are processed prior to the transaction being paid into your bank account, otherwise the original 1.69% card fee will be charged.
How do I get my money from SumUp?
Open the “SumUp Card” tab. Click on “Transfer” in the “Overview” tab. Enter the amount you wish to transfer. Confirm by clicking “Transfer”.
How do I turn off SumUp air?
Your SumUp Air will go into standby mode after some time without use. But don’t worry, it will stay connected to your device. You can also power off your card reader by holding down the power button for around 3 seconds.
